"Each one of us unites within them the past and the future in the history of their family, constitutes a link between their two closest colleagues, and through them - connects with the others, with all their people, and by the people - to all humanity ... Recognition, mutual understanding and shared work are a hysterical necessity and in disregard lies a great danger – the burial of all our spiritual attainments for many generations.

There is always hope

The Janusz Korczak Educational Institute of Israel, together with the Kfar Qassem - Rosh HaAyin Partnership, called on Israeli students to send letters and short video clips to encourage and strengthen the spirits of Ukrainian children, who suddenly became refugees.

Students, educational and administrative staff in schools and youth organizations across the country willingly responded to the call. Letters were written and videos aired.

We thank the External Relations section of the Welfare Department of the Rishon Lezion Municipality in Israel, for its willingness to deliver the letters to the hands of of Ukrainian refugee children who are staying in Poland, and to all those who joined and took part in the project. We all hope that the messages we send will bring some light to the children and their families in their difficult time.

Hoping for peace and health for all the girls and boys and their families around the world.
